Coming soon: Violated: A dark sci-fi romance (my next book)

How’ve you been? I’m in San Francisco for the coming week! So exciting to have internet with no restrictions instead of the crazy censorship of China! And to make this week even more exciting, I’ve got a new book coming out on Friday!!

Did you read the excerpt of The Last Doctor that I posted a few weeks ago? Well, The Last Rancher (book 1 in this dystopian sci-fi series) is getting a complete makeover to show what it’s about a bit more. It’s getting a new cover and title (Hunted: A dark western sci-fi romance). The second book had the working title The Last Doctor, but it’s actually going to be called Violated: A dark sci-fi romance.

Be warned, guys, Hunted is dark, but Violated (as the title implies) is even darker. And because I know some of you only love me for my historical Highlanders and cupcake-loving daddies, I’m going to bring all my dark stuff out with a different pen name: Aria Adams. This will make sure the scary, disturbing and downright delicious stuff doesn’t burn anyone by accident.

If dark stuff is not for you, maybe sit this one out, especially if The Last Rancher (which is being re-titled as Hunted) was out of your comfort zone. I won’t mind. I know the night isn’t for everyone. For some readers, this book has triggers coming out of its ears including forced breeding, forced surgery, hospitalization, creepy diseases and baby loss. There is medical play but also actual medical scenes. Oh, and the biggest trigger of all to some people: A downtrodden and broken heroine who is still a total fighter and who never gives in. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😉

Cover reveals for Hunted (book 1) and Violated (book 2) are coming soon…
